In today’s generation, countless young people feel the tug of God on their lives — a stirring to step into ministry, serve others, and live with greater purpose. Yet many don’t know where to begin or how to grow in that calling. That’s why the You Matter Internship was created.

This is more than just an internship — it’s a life-shaping journey. Over the course of the three-month program, you’ll be mentored by leaders, discipled in your faith, and trained in real ministry and nonprofit work. You won’t just sit in a classroom; you’ll gain hands-on experience that prepares you for the real world of serving, leading, and building the Kingdom.

Our goal is not only to teach you — but to equip you with the tools, confidence, and direction you need to discover your calling. Whether God is leading you toward full-time ministry, nonprofit leadership, or simply a deeper walk of faith, this internship is designed to help you step boldly into that next season.

If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to grow, serve, and be launched into what God has for your life — this is it. The You Matter Internship is your chance to be empowered, sharpened, and prepared for the future God is calling you into.

WHAT THE PROGRAM LOOKS LIKE

The You Matter Internship is designed to balance spiritual growth, hands-on training, and real-world experience in both ministry and nonprofit leadership.

Daily Schedule (Monday–Thursday):

  • Each morning begins with 1 hour of spiritual formation — a time dedicated to prayer, devotion, and growing deeper in your walk with God.

  • This is followed by 1 hour of classroom teaching, covering the Bible, theology, ministry, and nonprofit leadership.

  • For the remainder of the morning, interns will rotate through different organizational areas, gaining hands-on experience in the various functions of the ministry. This rotation is designed to both strengthen your existing gifts and help you discover and develop new ones.

Afternoons & Weekly Rhythm:

  • At 12:00 PM, interns will break for lunch.

  • Two days each week, students will return for an additional 3–4 hours of afternoon work, continuing their training and contribution to the organization.

  • Fridays are scheduled as an off day, allowing for students to have an opportunity for rest or work.

Special Opportunities:

  • Interns will also have the chance to travel with the You Matter team to events across the country. These trips provide a behind-the-scenes look at event planning, logistics, and ministry in action, while also offering opportunities for personal involvement.

Final Project:

  • The internship will culminate in a capstone project. Each intern will plan and execute an event — including fundraising, logistics, and coordination — and share their personal testimony for five minutes during the event. This project is designed to empower you to step into a missional lifestyle and lead with confidence.

Mentorship & Growth:

  • Throughout the program, students will be personally mentored and empowered to pursue their unique calling. Whether your path leads to ministry, nonprofit leadership, or another area of Kingdom impact, you will leave equipped with tools, experience, and vision for the future.

⚠️ Space is extremely limited — we are only accepting 2–3 interns for this first program cycle. If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been praying for, we encourage you to apply quickly!
